Biden’s Order Enables Illegals to Register to Vote, Says Official

(DailyChive.com) – Alabama Secretary of State Wess Allen exposed President Joe Biden’s hidden plans to grant voting rights to illegal immigrants and non-citizens who are not allowed to vote in US elections otherwise.

Allen slammed a 2021 executive order through which the president empowered federal agencies to launch massive voter registration drives. According to the secretary, this executive order “weaponizes” federal agencies and turns them into voter registration organizations.

He recalled an incident when he came across an official complaint from an Alabama resident who told him that he received a voter registration form in his mailbox under the name of his relative, who had already died a couple of years ago. As Allen’s office investigated the incident, they found that the form was sent by the Alabama state agency that receives federal funding and is bound to reach out to individuals who have contacted them in the past.

Biden’s sweeping executive order, Allen continued, did not introduce any tool through which the agencies could verify the residency status of the individuals before sending them the form, which essentially means that non-citizens and illegal immigrants also received voter registration forms.

Due to these prevailing voter registration concerns, Allen urged Congress to take the matter into its own hands and revise the National Voter Registration Act of 1993, under which Biden signed the controversial executive order. The Congress should change the NVRA in a way that only states should be able to launch their own voter registration drives and that the federal government should no longer enjoy sweeping powers in this domain, Allen continued.

He also emphasized the urgency of reinstating Donald Trump in the White House and the need for the GOP to win the majorities in both the House and the Senate in order to bring meaningful changes into the NVRA that verify the residency status of anyone who is invited to register to vote.

The White House maintained that the executive order in question seeks to give voting rights to Americans who are “legally entitled” to vote in the elections.
