Country Stars Luke Combs and Eric Church Perform at Relief Concert

(DailyChive.com) – Country music stars are coming together to support relief efforts after Hurricane Helene caused massive damage across the Carolinas. Top names like Luke Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings, and the legendary James Taylor are uniting for a benefit concert called Concert for Carolina. This special event aims to raise crucial funds for the people and communities hit hard by the storm.

The concert is set for October 26 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tickets will be available starting October 10 through Ticketmaster. The stadium was offered free of charge by David and Nicole Tepper, owners of the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte FC, and Bank of America Stadium. Nicole Tepper shared that they were moved by the strength of the Carolina community and felt the need to support the cause when Luke Combs reached out about hosting the event.

The concert will be hosted by ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley. In addition to the headlining acts, several more performers will be announced soon. The event is being presented by Explore Asheville, with all the proceeds split between Luke Combs’ chosen organizations and Eric Church’s Chief Cares Foundation.

Combs, who was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, plans to donate his portion of the proceeds to groups like Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. Church, also a North Carolina native, is focused on supporting trusted charities that can directly help families in need.

Both Combs and Church have strong ties to North Carolina. Combs grew up in Asheville and still considers the state his true home, despite now living in Nashville. Church, from Granite Falls, echoes that feeling, calling North Carolina his “refuge” and saying it’s where he finds peace.

Other country stars, such as Dolly Parton, Morgan Wallen, and Miranda Lambert, have also contributed to the relief efforts, showing the country music community’s commitment to helping rebuild the Carolinas.
