(DailyChive.com) – Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters from California has accused Trump supporters of getting training “in the hills” to combat against Biden in case of Trump’s defeat in the 2024 presidential elections.
During her appearance on an MSNBC show, Waters suggested that Biden should use the Justice Department preemptively in order to tackle any violence from Trump supporters who, according to her, are being trained “in the hills somewhere.”
The Democratic representative also stated that Trump has warned numerous times in different ways that he would attack the United States if Biden wins the presidency. She claimed that the former president hinted at a “bloodbath” in the United States, though these remarks by Trump were specifically about the future of the auto manufacturing industry under Biden, not an actual insurgency against the country.
No one can trust Trump at this stage as he is yet to admit the results of the 2020 presidential elections, Waters added. According to the California Democrat, Trump is a “dangerous” man with dictatorial tendencies and no respect for the Constitution, so Democrats must protect the country from him.
Even though Waters blamed Trump for instigating violence, she has a history of urging her own supporters to harass people of the Trump administration. Back in 2018, when Trump took strict measures to stop illegal immigration, Waters advised her supporters to gather a crowd to “absolutely harass” and “push back” against Trump cabinet members in public places so that they do not separate children and parents at the Southern border.
During the George Floyd murder trial, she even urged protesters to adopt a confrontational approach if the court did not convict Derek Chauvin for murdering Floyd.
Another Democratic House lawmaker, Robert Garcia, reiterated Waters’ claims, stating that Trump disrupted democracy in 2020 and he is trying to do the same this year as well.
Garcia claimed that pro-Trump MAGA extremists are present both inside and outside the Congress, adding that he will not hesitate to attack anyone who goes against him.
