In an interview with CNN, she assured that despite ongoing hearings, her team diligently drafted responsive briefs and moved forward with the case without impediment, expressing confidence in their work.
Despite facing criticism and public scolding from Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, Willis brushed off the hearings as mere “noise,” maintaining her focus on advancing the case. Nevertheless, critics argue that these hearings were crucial in safeguarding the defendants’ rights against potential prosecutorial overreach.
During her CNN interview, Willis defended her actions, asserting that her reputation didn’t require redemption and that she felt no embarrassment for her actions.
