(DailyChive.com) – James Copenhaver was one of the victims who was hit by an assassin’s bullet after Thomas Crooks allegedly opened fire on former President Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. Copenhaver has since recovered from his wounds, but a video he filmed that day is going viral after showing someone moving across the roof where Crooks ultimately was shot and killed by authorities after opening fire on Trump.
The video shows someone moving across the roof just three minutes before Crooks opened fire. As of August 5, the video was viewed over 10 million times.
Copenhaver suffered serious wounds after being hit twice and having since recovered, he’s still receiving rehabilitative care.
Questions continue to mount as to how the alleged shooter was able to access the roof, uninterrupted. Additionally, leaked text messages revealed that police and Secret Service likely knew that Crooks was on site and acting suspicious a full 90 minutes before he opened fire. The content was published in a famous legacy corporate press outlet, which has legitimized the story for many who had previously been skeptical.
It was also revealed that Crooks apparently flew a drone over the area two hours prior to the beginning of the event, and wasn’t detected or intercepted by law enforcement.
Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe told the Senate Homeland Security Committee that his agency wasn’t aware of Crooks or the potential for an assassination attempt until gunshots were fired. Rowe said under oath that his understanding was such that no one in the Secret Service nor the counter-snipers were included or made aware of discussions about Crooks that local cops were having over text messages.
Rowe has replaced former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle who resigned after pressure and public calls for her to step down following the scandalous revelations outlined above.
