Hollywood to Produce George Floyd Biopic

(DailyChive.com) – A Hollywood production company, Radar Pictures, is working on a George Floyd biopic, which is likely to dramatize the 2020 murder which sparked global unrest that turned violent at times.

The mother of Floyd’s daughter, Roxie Washington, and his daughter Gianna Floyd herself, are serving as executive directors of the upcoming movie, Daddy Changed the World.

Screenwriter Gregory R. Anderson is currently writing the script for the film, which has yet to announce its director and casting.

Washington believes that the biopic will play an important role in telling the world about the inspiring life of Floyd and possibly help in passing the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, which aims to lower the bar to prosecute law enforcement officers for their actions.

Democrats have long strived to pass this bill with no success. Recently, a Democratic congresswoman, Sheila Jackson Lee, reintroduced the bill to Congress, which is unlikely to pass in a Republican-controlled House.

Washington also thanked everyone who participated in protests after Floyd’s death, adding that no other child should face a tragedy which Gianna did and that the upcoming film will “humanize” Floyd.

Liberals used Floyd’s death to promote their long standing police defunding agenda, with many blue cities significantly reducing their police forces only to see unprecedented rises in crime. Now, an overwhelming majority of those cities have already started rehiring police officers as the crisis of lawlessness spiraled out of control.

While investigations revealed that Floyd had consumed multiple drugs before his death, it was also determined that the lack of oxygen caused by the knee of the now-imprisoned officer Derek Chauvin caused his death.

Right after the video of former officer Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck went viral, protests erupted across the United States. Some of these protesters were engaged in arson and looting of local businesses. The protests resulted in at least nine deaths.

Floyd had been jailed eight times on various charges, including theft and drug possession.
