(DailyChive.com) – First Lady Jill Biden is facing scrutiny from her former husband, Bill Stevenson, over her continuous and unnecessary backing of President Joe Biden’s campaign after Biden’s debate debacle.
Since the conclusion of the first presidential debate, Jill Biden has come to defend her husband’s horror show even though most staunch Democratic supporters and donors are reluctant to do so.
Speaking in an interview, Stevenson stated that Jill has now been transformed into a “completely different woman.” He added that Biden is struggling with everything in his life these days, and Jill’s insistence on keeping him in the race is beyond sanity.
Although Stevenson claimed that he has been proud of Jill in the past, there is speculation that she is now trying to pave her own way towards the presidency, as she would likely make key decisions in Biden’s second term.
Even though Biden accuses Trump of lying, he himself is the biggest liar, Stevenson added.
After the miserable debate performance, Biden is facing unprecedented pressure from his former loyalists to drop out of the race and allow someone else to lead the Democratic Party in the 2024 elections. Reportedly, Jill is the major force behind keeping Biden in the race, with insiders believing that only she can convince her husband to end his White House bid.
Jill has defended Biden publicly after the debate but also claimed that “90 minutes” does not define Biden’s four-year tenure. She also faced backlash for her comments that her spouse answered all the questions during the debate, at a time when Biden stumbled over and over again, which brought his mental condition into the spotlight.
As top Democratic donors see their money at stake, many of them are also encouraging Jill to convince her husband to quit the race. Biden also reflected on his poor debate performance and acknowledged that he no longer walks, speaks, or behaves the same way he used to, but he still knows how to tell the truth.
