She worked in the field of television and film casting in Hollywood, and also as an actor and a member of SAG. Solters created and produced her own comedy web series and appeared in theater productions.
In 2012, she joined her father’s company and started representing high-profile clients. Among those clients were the Music Forward Foundation, the Kia Forum, and the Hollywood Bowl. Scoops Marketing also represented musicians like Dead & Company and John Mayer as well as football teams such as the Eagles. Aside from her father’s involvement in the business, her grandfather, Lee Solters, was also well-known in the showbiz world and represented mega stars like Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, and Barabara Streisand.
Solters was also a coordinator for the One Billion Rising campaign and worked with V-Day, both of which strive to end domestic violence and other violence against women. She is survived by her father and her stepmother; Debra Graff, her mother; her aunt and cousin; her dog named Pookie; and Dim Dobrin, who was her lifelong partner.
To honor her, the family is requesting that mourners donate to One Billion Rising in Solters’ name and memory.
