(DailyChive.com) – A book published by a New York Times writer is giving additional insight into the creepy sexual habits of Microsoft founder and billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates. Anupreeta Das is the author of “Billionaire, Nerd, Savior, King: Bill Gates and His Quest to Shape Our World.” The book reportedly gives detailed accounts of Gates’ tendencies to awkwardly flirt with young interns at Microsoft. It also discusses his ex-wife Melinda Gates and their 27-year marriage.
The book claims Melinda Gates was “seething” for years due to Bill’s tendency toward infidelity. Das detailed Bill’s attempts to make awkward advances toward his young employees and while it qualified his advances as strange and juvenile it did not suggest he was predatory or coercive. She called him “clumsy rather than predatory.”
Das also highlights an incident where one employee was chastised by a colleague after sending a 22-year-old intern into Gates’ office alone. Gates was never accused of exchanging money or career advancement for romantic relations. Das did write that he betrayed an immaturity in his approach to women and often mistook simple casual conversational interest for flirting.
The book also discusses a previously revealed arrangement between Bill and Melinda Gates: he was allowed to spend a weekend alone with his ex once per year. Bill Gates used to date Ann Winblad but totally wrecked his shot at marriage by bungling the courtship. Das wrote that Winblad was willing to marry Gates at one point, but instead of spending time with her, he spent the time reading Henry Ford’s biography.
Das detailed multiple infidelities by Gates, and suggested that Melinda grew tired and frustrated with him over time. She even investigated her husband’s calendar and discovered several bizarre blocks of time that didn’t make sense or were unaccounted for. She reportedly instructed staff at their home to not-give out Bill’s cell number to any women calling and asking for it.
Das detailed the end of their marriage which publicly began in 2021, but was actually much earlier than that in 2019. It was revealed that Gates was doing business and spending time with infamous pedophile and trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Melinda had strongly advised separation from him and Bill apparently continued their relationship behind her back.
