Palestinian Terrorists Kill Mother in Front of Her Baby Boy

(DailyChive.com) – On Tuesday night, two Palestinian gunmen attacked and killed seven people in Jaffa, a city close to Tel Aviv, Israel. One of the victims was a 33-year-old mother, Inbar Segev-Vigder, who was shot while riding the train with her nine-month-old baby. She died protecting her son, who survived the attack without being harmed.

The two gunmen, who had permits to work in Israel, opened fire using an M16 rifle on passengers of the new light rail train. After shooting at those on the train, they continued attacking people on the platform and in the nearby streets. Armed civilians and police eventually confronted and stopped the attackers.

According to social media reports and Israel’s official account, Inbar shielded her baby during the shooting, saving his life. A bystander quickly took the baby to a hospital, and fortunately, he was not hurt in the attack. The next morning, Inbar, a fitness center owner and Pilates instructor, was identified as one of the victims. She lived in Jaffa with her husband and young son.

Israeli news reported the names of five of the seven people who were killed. In addition to Inbar, the victims included new immigrants to Israel and a female student. Nine others were injured in the attack and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The attack was finally ended when one of the armed civilians, using his own weapon, shot one of the gunmen. Both attackers were killed by security forces.

This terrible event has once again brought attention to the ongoing violence in Israel, where both citizens and visitors regularly face these kinds of threats. While civilians and police acted quickly to stop the killing, the loss and grief from this attack will not be forgotten anytime soon.
