(DailyChive.com) – Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, dubbed the Fulton County Attorney Fani Willis, “Fani the ho,” as he faces criticism over his controversial remarks despite being applauded at the event where he coined the name.
Speaking in a Michigan church, Giuliani stated that he would stop calling Willis “ho” if she drops the election interference case against him.
Willis sued Trump and his 18 supporters, including Giuliani, for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.
Back at the start of the case, Giuliani slammed the prosecution team led by Willis and called them “criminals,” adding that the people who were facing criminal charges were actually the ones who tried to save America and bring back the culture of free and fair elections in the United States.
Giuliani further revealed that he was only defending Donald Trump in his case, so he should not have been prosecuted in the first place.
Willis came under criticism in recent times for hiring his lover, Nathan Wade, on the prosecution team against Trump and rewarding him with unreasonably high compensation for his work.
Wade resigned from the case after the judge ordered either Wade or Willis to step aside.
The judge, however, did not find that Willis was involved in the conflict of interest when she hired Wade.
Willis’ election interference case against Trump and Giuliani now faces roadblocks as the Georgia Court of Appeals halted the proceedings of the case to determine whether or not Willis should continue as a prosecutor in the case.
Her actions are now likely to be scrutinized further as the court would delve deeper to find out if she was really involved in the conflict of interest. This essentially means that the verdict of Trump’s Georgia election interference case is highly unlikely to come before the November elections.
Meanwhile, Giuliani faced severe backlash for his remarks. Former Democratic Congresswoman Donna Edwards asked the conservative lawyer to stop dehumanizing black women with his disgusting comments.
