Hunter Biden Docuseries Withdrawn by News Channel Due to Lawsuit Risk

(DailyChive.com) – Fox News took down a six-part Hunter Biden documentary series from its streaming platform, Fox Nation, as the first son threatened the network with a potential defamation lawsuit for showing his private nude and manipulated images to mislead the public.

The docuseries, named ‘The Trial of Hunter Biden,’ showed Hunter Biden’s flawed business activities and a mockup trial stemming from these troubling financial practices.

The cable network suggested that this series has been on air since 2022. However, the outlet continued that they are reviewing the series and have removed it as a caution for the time being.

Hunter’s legal team wrote a letter to Fox News, claiming that the conservative media outlet is intentionally promoting the explicit and intimate photos of Hunter. The letter further stated that the images used in the documentary were hacked and manipulated, adding that the cable network tried to make a profit out of these visuals.

One of Biden’s lawyers, Tina Glandian, claimed that Fox News’ documentaries do not take enough measures to separate facts from fiction, which makes viewers unable to decipher the truth, leading to the potential propagation of fake news.

The letter also asked some high-profile figures on Fox News to tell their viewers on air that the documentary showed already debunked claims.

Contrary to Hunter Biden’s claims that these images were hacked, the Department of Justice has already stated that Hunter Biden’s laptop content was real and mirrored what was present on his iCloud.

FOX News claims that the network obeys the constitutional limits while covering public figures. They also noted that the Department of Justice and Congress are both investigating Hunter Biden’s wrongdoings, and he has already been indicted on multiple charges.

So, the network continued, all of its coverage about the first son was in accordance with the First Amendment.

Hunter Biden is currently facing lawsuits over alleged fraudulent business and tax practices.
