(DailyChive.com) – President Joe Biden allowed an illegal immigrant from Mexico to address a White House room full of far-left activists from a podium bearing the seal of the President of the United States.
Javier Quiroz Castro, who entered the United States illegally with his parents almost 30 years ago, was only three years old at the time of his arrival in the US. Now while speaking at the presidential podium, he thanked Biden for protecting the families of illegal immigrants who otherwise faced the possibility of deportation.
Biden is trying to mobilize the progressive voter base of the Democratic Party, especially in battleground states like Wisconsin and Michigan, where he finds himself in a difficult situation against former president Donald Trump.
Although Biden tried to lure the moderate faction of his party through an executive order that limited the number of illegal aliens coming to the US, this approach is turning the far-left voter base away from him.
Experts suggest that the president is now finding a balance between stopping illegal immigration while still announcing some lenient policies for his progressive voters in swing states.
Recently, Biden announced an amnesty scheme for illegal immigrants, which would pave their way towards US citizenship by marrying American citizens. His open border policies are also helping illegal immigrants get jobs that should have been filled by American graduates.
First Lady Jill Biden is also busy promoting an open border agenda, stating that migrant families are responsible for making America strong. She also directed her sympathy towards illegal immigrants, claiming that parents who want to give their children a good future want to bring them to America but face roadblocks in realizing their dreams.
Biden’s attempt to promote more illegal immigration comes at a time when voters are already suggesting a complete overhaul of the existing immigration system in the US.
A recent poll indicated that 62% of voters want a new policy to deport all the illegal immigrants currently residing in the country.
