(DailyChive.com) – Election insiders reveal that former President Donald Trump is getting impressive support among black voters who traditionally rally behind Democrats.
Even liberal news networks like CNN are indicating a massive shift of black voters in Trump’s favor. According to CNN’s senior data reporter, Harry Enten, Trump has the support of almost 21% of black voters just five months before the elections compared to the 7% he enjoyed at the same time before the 2020 presidential elections. The 14% increase is a worrying sign for President Joe Biden, who faces the backlash of black voters for taking them for granted.
Enten suggested that he keeps on hearing that Trump’s popularity among black voters will reverse near the elections, but there is no sign that can verify this assertion. He added that we are all set to witness a historic election in 2024, as no Republican candidate in the last six decades has managed to gain this much popularity among black Americans.
Trump is attracting black voters younger than 50-years old, which is itself an encouraging sign for his campaign due to the inclination of young voters towards the left.
Reportedly, Biden had the support of 80% black voters younger than 50 back in 2020 but that support has now shrunk to 37% only. These shocking numbers left Enten “speechless,” who stated that we are living in a historic moment where young black voters are leaving Democrats in big numbers.
Meanwhile Trump is looking forward to further solidifying his support among black voters. He recently participated in a roundtable discussion with the black community in a Detroit church. Black Republican Byron Donalds, who also accompanied the former president at the roundtable meeting, stated that Trump could win up to 25% of black votes in the November elections.
The Trump campaign noted that the black community is well aware of the fact that Donald Trump is the only person who can start delivering on his promises right after taking the oath.
